With eyes shut strong words echoed
Tingles in my wrist
Red rivers don't exist
I stare across a mile to find a vile soul on trial
Stand up, Sit
Buttons like razors across the glass
And just as fast they fade like old scars
Take it back
But you can't do that with shards
Glue me back together to see me fall apart
Push the next button like its your last meal
Gorge yourself on mind control
a random change of heart
Through the looking glass
Faded clues to pull you back from where you've gone
Clawing at the walls until the whole place has fallen down

Dust Bunnies: Deep Purple (Tribbles)
"Jim! Jim get in here! Its had babies!" Bones buzzed the captain's quarters. It wasn't ten seconds that went by before Jim was awake and in the doctors office.
"I told you to be careful with that damn thing!" He hit his palm to his forehead. "How many?" He asked after he calmed himself.
"Just one." He said simply. "Look though..." He held out a very tiny purple tribble.
"You can't keep it you kno-its purple? What did you feed it, radiation?" He reached out to pet it.
"Carrots" Bones rolled his eyes.
"Wait, what?"
"I'm feeding her Carrots, Jim. Carrots. So can we keep this one too? She's so cute."
"Leo I can't let you keep every little tr

"Softy" Bones' attention left the tribble in his hands for just a second to glance behind his back.
"Whaddaya want there Jim?" He sighed and put the purring ball of fur back into is cage.
Jim took a few steps out of the older man's doorway and let the doors 'swoosh' shut.
"How much are you feeding that damn thing, its huge!" He said after he caught a peek at the animal, afraid this was going to turn into last weeks fiasco all over again.
Bones shut the cage door and hopped up on his desk, beginning to dust off and sanitize some medical supplies.
"Its for science" He began carefully swinging his legs off the side of the desk and rolled his

Sleep is for the weak, ya know?
Do you ever just want to..?
Not that you're unfulfilled,
but maybe just from sheer boredom.
Just because...
Step into another place in time,
or step outside without rhyme or reason.
Step outside a mess,
now a frost bitten one,
and lay in the dead grass
just to pretend you are one.
Lets be dead just for a second.
No more silent screaming and
feeble whispers "Go to sleep".
Pay no heed to your thoughts.
Rest your pretty little head.
and die for a moment.
I'm scared of the monsters under my bed,
I sleep with with three blankets to ease the thoughts in my head.
The tiny light on my dresser keeps them at bay,
Anything to keep those damned monsters away.
You said it was perfectly fine,
That the nightlight didn't bother you since it eases my mind.
I smiled, thinking that was sweet,
Sweet that you could put up with me.
I'm scared of the monsters that have consumed my brain,
Disorders have affected more than me and become a pain.
I'm so damn selfish and I'm so fucking sorry,
I never meant to make you unhappy.
You said you got it,
Sometimes it's something people get.
I smiled again, so glad,
That
A city burns to ruin as smoke blackens out the sky.
Soot falls upon a garden where its fragile flowers die.
A single flower stands here covered in a shroud of dust.
Was once a subtle beauty, but now stricken of its lust.
It’s yearning for the sunlight as it slowly fades away.
Wrapped up in total darkness stretching outward for the day.
It’s begging for clean water but its god withholds the rain.
Skies sending no salvation down to wash away the pain.
It’s hoping for the wind yet it may offer only death
The flames encroaching closer as they feed upon its breath
Will beauty ever return where the fire scorched the ground;
To paint a scene of mythic horrors
Take dim lit room and darkest corners
Find a child huddled there, cradled tight in his despair
Silent here for not his murmurs,
murmuring out a prayer
He asks the keeper keep to keeping
While all his guardians tucked in sleeping
Ignorant of the shadows creeping
Slow across the hallway floor, standing now outside his door
Somewhere near the sound of breathing,
breaths too heavy to ignore
Then just outside there raised a howl
A distant boom and monstrous growl
Envisions he a ghostly cowl
Afloat across the yard in prowl
Come to steal his soul away, curtains hold the fiend at bay
With scrapes across the window
"Just take the whole goddamned bottle." I know you want to say it so badly. "Lets fix her. 'fix'..get her on the edge of death and take it away. When she blames you remind her its your fault" ..and its always my fault.

"You just get so close to have it all snatched away. You can't be happy with it and you're sure as hell dead without it." Its not up to you to control me. Its not up to you to tell me where my happiness lies.
"MANIC depression must be a special thing. You're to fat to have an eating disorder. You're not anorexic, you could never be. We go away and come back with a vengeance. You push..push..PUSH
